| My Z trans lost 3rd a few weeks ago and I’m trying to decide what my best option is going forward and wanted to know what everyone recommends. I considered a new 98+ but those seem to have really inconsistent reviews in terms of reliability. I’ve also considered having my trans rebuilt but I’ve not found many reviews on people who’ve gone down that path. There are quite a few rebuild kits out there but I don’t know if they’re actually and upgrade or just refresh worn components. I can obviously just buy a used one and take the risk, but I’d rather upgrade to something more durable. CD009’s seem incredibly durable and not a big deal to swap on my setup, but then my rear diff ratio would be way too short IMO. What are you guys running with gtx cars? I know there are a lot of 700+ whp Z’s out there. I was actually giving a friend of a friend a ride when the trans went and he was taking a video for anyone interested.
